Penny enters the house/apartment with a face on, plopping directly onto the couch.
NICKY
Looks like you’ve had a day.
PENNY
You have no idea.
NICKY
Want to talk about it?
PENNY
No.
NICKY
Your face is lying.
PENNY
I know.
NICKY
What happened?
PENNY
There was a dime.
On the street.
And I bent down to pick it up because I always pick up free money.
And it wouldn’t budge but I decided to keep trying.
And then after thirty seconds I realized someone had glued it there, waiting for some bimbo to come along and try to get free money.
It kind of crushed me.
NICKY
...in what way?
PENNY
All the ways.
The fact that I fell for it, the fact that someone else could fall for it, the fact that someone would do that to someone, the fact that the dime is essentially useless now, the fact that I couldn’t get the dime, and the fact that I have the need to stop on the street to pick up the dime at all even though I make a good living.

That therapist I told you about is accepting patients again.
PENNY
Therapists are expensive.
NICKY
Then pick up some dimes.
