Starring: The Tourist, Man (male)
The Tourist stands in a large square, holding a large paper map. They turn around to all sides, occasionally consulting the map, supremely confused.
Man walks by, on a cell phone, stopping in one corner. The Tourist stares at him. They mouth a phrase, as if preparing something to say. The Tourist gathers the courage and walks over to Man, who turns to face them.
THE TOURIST (in broken other language)
Excuse me…
Is this here? Is this where I’m supposed to be?
MAN (in accented English)
Ah
Um
Sorry I am not from here.
THE TOURIST (in differently accented English)
...Oh.
I’m sorry I thought you were…
Would you still know if this is where I am? Where I am supposed to be?
MAN
Um
I think.
I do not know I just got here.
THE TOURIST
Ok.
Thank you anyways.
MAN
Of course.

The Tourist moves away from Man and glances at their map again, still impossibly lost.
